Integrating the GF Tool Manager in Approve has created a holistic solution that digitally manages the entire lifecycle of tools: From the specification phase via creating a specification sheet and ongoing reporting right through to the decommissioning of the tool. To achieve this, data on the tools (costs, deadlines, technical design, etc.) is recorded digitally, brought together from the various locations and made available to all employees and suppliers involved in the now standardized processes, depending on the specific requirements.
Before documents are shared with suppliers or customers, they have to go through a defined approval process. Team members can view the historical status of documents, folders, or entire projects at any time using the “time travel” function, and even restore them if necessary.
Norms, standards, and drawings have to be backed-up, approved, and exchanged with suppliers. To ensure an efficient exchange, Approve integrates internal employees and suppliers alike in important processes. This ensures improved traceability when working with suppliers.
