Fabasoft Xpublisher maps Taskforce IT-Standards: Practical real-time use from day 1

Fabasoft Xpublisher has integrated the highly regarded Taskforce IT-Standards into its multichannel publishing software. These modular process models − designed specifically for the publishing industry − are used to define workflows that simplify the rollout of new software and minimize the effort involved in the implementation process. This enables publishers to put Xpublisher to productive use immediately.

Standardized implementation process facilitates immediate use of the software

The aim of the Taskforce IT-Standards of the German Publishers and Booksellers Association is to develop predefined process models for implementing new software for the publishing industry. Together with the Taskforce, Fabasoft Xpublisher was among the first companies to launch publishing software based on the Standards. With the integration of the parsX XML standard for textbook publishers, it enables rapid deployment of an “XML-first“ production environment tailored to the publishing industry‘s needs.
