LINZ/GALLNEUKIRCHEN. The beginning of January saw the first kids arrive in the new corporate childcare center “FABIs Kindernest” established by the company Fabasoft in Linz. Children between the ages of 1 to 5 can be taken care of in a modern and child-friendly environment. The Diakoniewerk Oberösterreich is the supporting association of FABIs Kindernest.
FABIs Kindernest offers toddlers a colourful and inspiring world of experience that projects a feeling of comfort and security in which they are welcomed with all their strengths and abilities.
It is important for Fabasoft as a family-friendly employer to facilitate and provide support for the reconciliation of work and family life.
“Making it easier for employees to return to work after maternity/paternity leave is a central concern to us. The collaboration with the Diakoniewerk as a project partner has made it possible for us to accelerate our plan of establishing our own care center. We are thrilled that FABIs Kindernest has been so well received and are already planning the next step – expanding our offer to include a childcare service during the summer holidays. FABIs Kindernest is intended to meet family, social and labor market needs”, explains Helmut Fallmann, Member of the Fabasoft AG Management Board.
Professional and individual care
Children from 1 year of age onwards are cared for individually in FABIs Kindernest. Orienting the opening hours on the specific needs of employees makes planning far easier for parents and offers a high level of flexibility. Gabriele Mahringer from the Diakoniewerk OÖ is responsible for the care center, she is an experienced educator with additional specialized qualifications in such fields as sensory integration and early learning. “I enjoy accompanying and supporting the children under my care in the washrooms and providing them with an area in which they can develop their talents and abilities”, says Frau Mahringer.
Modern equipment with space for creativity and movement
The bright, modern rooms of the FABIs Kindernest promote optimum development of the children while leaving them ample space for discovery. The children can give full bent to their fantasy in the painting studio while the dream swing gives them the comfy opportunity to swing and relax. An adventure wet room with adventure shower and a spacious recreation area complete with climbing wall and roller slide round off the offer. The amenities with their first-class furniture and play materials provide the best possible promotion of the toddlers’ development.
