Fabasoft has been awarded the contract to implement electronic filing by the DVZ Datenverarbeitungszentrum Mecklenburg-Vorpommern GmbH following the “E-Akte für das Land Mecklenburg-Vorpommern” (Eelectronic records management for the State of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania) negotiation procedure. The plan involves rolling out the electronic records management service based on the Fabasoft eGov-Suite for up to 16,000 users, replacing the existing DOMEA® installation as a result.
The German Federal Ministry of Energy, Infrastructure and Digitalization (EM) bears the overall responsibility for the project. The IT service provider for the state administration, Datenverarbeitungszentrum M-V GmbH (DVZ), based in Schwerin, will serve as the system’s operator in the future.
The goal is to establish the definitive requirements for the new state standard governing the document management and transaction processing system (DMS/TPS) within a strict timeframe, to implement it across the board, and to operate it centrally.
“We are very pleased to have the opportunity to support the state administration of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania with our services and products alongside our partners in this landmark project,” says Matthias Wodniok, Managing Director of Fabasoft Deutschland GmbH.
