Who are we?

Fabasoft Oblivation is a startup within the Fabasoft Group. We are building an AI-powered sustainability reporting solution and recommendation engine designed to help companies use automation for ESG reporting compliance and to have a more positive impact on the environment and society.

Sustainability teams spend huge amounts of time manually searching for data, drafting responses to ratings questionnaires, and writing sustainability reports. We help to automate these tasks, and to advance their sustainability strategy and progress toward sustainability targets using LLM technology.

This is what your new job looks like:

• You are building, experimenting and developing a world class AI product with modern Retrieval Augmented Generation and Vector Database technologies using Python.
• You learn and become an expert in our Mindbreeze InSpire technology.
• You contribute creatively to the technical direction for a growing enterprise-grade and AI-powered product.
• You leverage your expertise to build and finetune AI models for the sustainability reporting use case.
• You work directly and receive mentorship from our lead software engineer and architect with extensive industry experience.
• You receive feedback from our data scientists, sustainability experts, and customers to develop advanced pipelines and solve sustainability reporting challenges in completely novel ways. 

How we imagine you:

• You hold a degree in Computer Science, with 3 or more years of practical experience building in Python and/or other object-oriented languages.
• You are proficient in Python and ML frameworks and have experience in developing AI applications.
• You are familiar with technologies such as RAG, Agents, Vector Search, Embeddings etc. and libraries such as LangChain and PyTorch. 
• You are proficient with tools for data preprocessing, analysis and visualization (Pandas, NumPy, Plotly etc).
• You enjoy collaborating with like-minded developers to solve complex software engineering challenges.
• With your mindset, you enjoy working with agile approaches (Scrum), proactively contribute your ideas, and communicate confidently in English. Proficiency in German is a plus.
