Full Stack Developer (f/m/d)

Who are we?

Fabasoft Oblivation is a startup within the Fabasoft Group. We are building an AI-powered sustainability reporting solution and recommendation engine designed to help companies achieve ESG reporting compliance and have a more positive impact on the environment and society.

Sustainability teams spend huge amounts of time manually searching for data, drafting responses to ratings questionnaires, and writing sustainability reports. We help to automate these tasks, and to advance their sustainability strategy and progress toward sustainability targets using LLM technology.

This is what your new job looks like:

• You work on the development of our software solution “Fabasoft Oblivation” with a focus on backend software engineering.
• Your main task is to learn and develop in Fabasoft’s domain-specific language which is based on familiar concepts from Java and C++
• As an experienced developer, you play an active role in software architecture and technology decisions. 
• You collaborate with the Fabasoft Oblivation team and other colleagues in the wider Fabasoft organisation to combine technologies and build a world class AI product on our enterprise cloud infrastructure. 
• You work directly and receive mentorship from our lead software engineer and architect with extensive industry experience.
• You receive feedback from our data scientists, sustainability experts, and customers to implement new product features.

How we imagine you:

• You hold a degree in Computer Science, with 3 or more years of practical experience in full stack software development. 
• You have expertise in object-oriented programming (e.g., Java, C++, or other languages) and frontend development (JavaScript). Knowledge of system architecture modeling using UML is a plus.
• You have a desire to learn a new programming language and design an application end-to-end and are interested in building a product using modern AI technologies.
• You enjoy collaborating with fellow senior engineers from the Fabasoft Group and working in a fast-paced product development team.
• You are excited about the possibility of leveraging and combining solutions from the Fabasoft product suite.
• With your mindset, you enjoy working with agile approaches (Scrum), proactively contribute your ideas, and communicate confidently in English. Proficiency in German is a plus.
