Cyber Trust Gold Label

Fabasoft was the first cloud provider to receive the Cyber Trust Austria Gold Label. This Austrian seal of quality for cyber security is based on the Cyber Risk Rating Scheme, developed by KSÖ (Kompetenzzentrum Sicheres Österreich) and KSV1870, the Gold Label on a valid KSV1870 CyberRisk A+ Rating.

Within the scope of the external audit required for the annual recertification, Fabasoft provided evidence to fulfill the fourteen basic security criteria as well as the eleven additional criteria that define the stringent level required to demonstrate proof of “Advanced Security”. The Cyber Risk Advisory Board, a panel of security experts from Operators of essential Services (OeS) according to the Law on Network an Information System Security (Netz- und Informationssystemsicherheitsgesetz, “NISG”), is responsible for the governance of the Cyber Risk Rating Scheme. The rating evaluates companies with regard to how effectively they implement core requirements in the area of cyber security and externally demonstrates that they comply with the provisions of the NISG and, in the future, the EU's NIS 2 Directive.
