Certificates and audits

Fabasoft has enjoyed ISO 9001-certified quality management since 2005. Annual audits verify the continuous optimization in all business-relevant processes.

Fabasoft has been ISO 20000-1 certified since 2011, fulfilling the internationally established quality standard for professional IT service management systems.

Fabasoft achieved ISO 27001 certification in 2008 along with ISO 27018 certification in 2015, attesting to the strictest security and data privacy standards for its data centers and cloud services.

With the "Fabasoft Cloud" Fabasoft was the first company in the world to achieve Level 3 compliance of the EU Cloud Code of Conduct in 2021, the most stringent cloud data privacy standard in the EU.

In 2017, Fabasoft became the first European cloud service provider to achieve C5 attestation from the German Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) in recognition of its advanced level of information security.

Fabasoft has received the ISAE 3000 SOC 2 report for compliance with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) Trust Service Criteria (TSC) in Fabasoft Cloud.

By achieving certification in compliance with ISAE 3402 Type 2, the sequel to the SAS 70 standard, Fabasoft has successfully proven the effectiveness of its internal control system (ICS).

Fabasoft Cloud complies with current commercial and tax law (revision-secure and compliant with German general accounting principles for archiving) in accordance with IDW PS 880 and the required compliance levels in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

Since 2008, MoReq2 has been the most authoritative requirements specification in Europe for electronic document and records management – the proper digitization and storage of business records.

The Fabasoft Cloud was the first web application to receive the WACA silver certificate in October 2019. In June 2022, recertification was carried out by the independent auditing body TÜV Austria.

The Fabasoft Cloud user interface is nearly 100% accessible, as attested by the “highly accessible” rating awarded by the Pfennigparade Foundation in January 2015.

Fabasoft was the first cloud provider to receive the Cyber Trust Austria Gold Label. This Austrian seal of quality for cyber security is based on the Cyber Risk Rating Scheme, developed by KSÖ (Kompetenzzentrum Sicheres Österreich) and KSV1870, the Gold Label on a valid KSV1870 CyberRisk A+ Rating.

The BMEnet Seal of Quality for Contract Management proves that AI-basedcontract management software Fabasoft Contracts promotes optimization in theareas of procurement and logistics.

Fabasoft Approve, the product for technical data management, fulfills the requirements for procurement solutions and was therefore awarded the BMEnet Seal of Quality for Supplier Relationship Management.

Fabasoft has been awarded the “Family-Friendly Employer” federal seal of quality from Familie & Beruf Management GmbH in March 2022. Fabasoft AG already received the basic "Work and Family" certificate for the two locations in Austria in October 2021.
