Zukunftskongress 2019

Also this year we were represented as exhibitors at the „Zukunftskongress Staat & Verwaltung“ in Berlin. There was great interest in the Fabasoft booth, where we were able to exchange information about the latest product developments. Together with the staff of the Federal Ministry of the Interior, Building and Home Affairs and the ITZBund, the current status of the „E-Akte Bund“ project was also presented. Klaus Vitt, State Secretary of the BMI, also inquired about the current projects.

If you would like to receive more information on this project or if you have any questions on our products, please send us an email at egov@fabasoft.com!

About the "Zukunftskongress Staat & Verwaltung 2019"

The changes caused by digitisation and globalisation are becoming more and more apparent in all areas of our lives. Today it is possible to carry out activities in real time which used to take hours, days or weeks before. We have become a part of global digital business models and value-adding strategies. By now we are fully aware of the fact that digitisation will completely overhaul many areas of the economy and our daily lives: It will change communication, mobility and our social interactions – and even our democracy. This is why the state itself has to be an informed and sometimes even a controlling and regulating actor. State and administration are called upon to accept the rapidity of these changes and take measures to close the digital gap in the development that is taking place in the private and public sectors.

Politics has recognised this necessity. Almost every speech evokes the CHALLENGES caused by DIGITISATION and AUTOMATION. Germany and Europe need agile and innovative (as well as service-oriented) structures in state and administration to safeguard our position in international competition. It is a long way from acknowledging this aspect to taking measures.

This is precisely the point where the "Zukunftskongress Staat & Verwaltung", which has been sponsored by the German Federal Ministry of the Interior, Building and Community since 2013, sets in. The public sector’s flagship event for digital change is tackling the fundamental questions of structure, organisation and processes, leadership and personnel management in connection with the new possibilities arising from disruptive technologies. It offers assistance to seize the opportunities presented by the digital revolution and benefit from them. However, the event deals with more than the digital services provided by the economy. It also addresses today’s questions and problems in the administrative sector in order to find the answers that will help to manage the future together.

Because "Digitisation is not about technology. It's about people."
