On March 14, 2023, the #nextlevel talk "Digital administration, digital state with citizen proximity" took place in the new "Die Presse" studio. Austria is internationally regarded as a pioneer in the digitization of the public sector. Despite successful online services such as "FinanzOnline" and the "Digitales Amt" app, the goal has not yet been achieved. What is important in the digital transformation of the public administration? What challenges must be overcome? And how can online services optimally support the population?
